Pippi Longstocking

Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren
The irrepressible red-haired girl who lives on
her own in Villa Villekulla with only a monkey
and a horse for companions.Pippi always
does exactly as she pleases. She sleeps with
her feet on her pillow. She goes to the circus
and outdoes the performers. She tries going
to school only so that she can have school
vacations but decides one day is enough.
Whatever the occasion, count on Pippi to do
the unexpected.
The antics of Pippi Longstocking have
delighted children all around the world since
she created by Astrid Lindgren more than
sixty years ago. This new edition featuring a
sparkling translasion by Tina Nunnally and
engaging pictures by noted illustrator Lauren
Child will introduce Pippi to a new
generation of readers."  (Quote taken from cover description.)

I loved reading Pippi Longstocking cause she's so funny!
She's even stronger then Strong Adolf!(Strong Adolf is a character in the book)
She can lift her horse off her porch, dance a polka, and bake gingersnaps on the floor and they won't get dirty!
I loved the book so much I started to read the book again.
My favorite part of the book is when Pippi goes to the circus.
